Leadership Team
Amitabh has more than twenty years of experience across enterprise software, end user computing, mobile, and database software. Amitabh co-founded Workspot with Puneet Chawla and Ty Wang in August 2012.
Prior to Workspot, Amitabh was the General Manager for Enterprise Desktops and Apps at Citrix Systems. In his five years at Citrix, Amitabh was VP Product Management for XenDesktop and VP Engineering for the Advanced Solutions Group.
Amitabh has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

As Chief Product Officer at Workspot, Jimmy is responsible for overall product direction and technology partnership strategy.
Prior to Workspot, Jimmy held various senior technical product, marketing, and strategy roles at software, networking, and video compression companies, including Citrix where he was Director of Product Management and Strategic Alliances, responsible for XenDesktop product management and building the ecosystem strategy with technology partners such as Google, HP, and Dell.
Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Tompkins comes to Workspot with more than 25 years of experience in software and hardware sales. Prior to joining his role as President & COO at Workspot, he held the position of Chief Revenue Officer at IGEL. Brad was Area Manager for Red Hat’s Strategic Sales Team, covering Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Before his Red Hat tenure, he held sales leadership positions with Hewlett Packard (now Hewlett Packard Enterprise) and with Citrix. Tompkins holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Technician.
Most recently, Subash served as chief financial officer at FirstUp.io, and before that, the chief financial officer at Azuga, Inc.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from California State University, Stanislaus, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from University of Mumbai
Phil has more than twenty years of operational experience in B2B SaaS across markets including mobile, e-commerce, digital marketing, payments, healthcare, and end-user-computing. At Workspot, Phil is responsible for driving great experiences for our customers and partners. He leads our customer facing teams across functions including Sales Engineering, Success, Support, and Account Management.
Prior to Workspot, Phil has held executive positions at four venture backed growth stage companies that have all been acquired. Most recently he was the EVP of Client Services at NuORDER, a wholesale ecommerce platform, and led the pre and post sales customer teams as the company scaled to a successful exit through acquisition by Lightspeed Commerce Inc (NYSE: LSPD).
Phil earned a BA in History with a Minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles.
As VP of Engineering at Workspot, Prasad is responsible for the leading the company’s world class team of engineers located in the US and India.
Previously, Prasad has lead globally based development teams at early stage start-ups and large companies, including NComputing and Citrix. He most recently held the position as VP of Engineering at NComputing, a leader in Desktop and Application virtualization solutions. Before NComputing, he was the Sr. Director of Engineering of Enterprise Desktops and Application Division at Citrix where he lead Citrix XenDesktop 7 development teams. Previously Prasad was Director and Architect at Everypath where he built Mobile Application Gateway and Mobile Application Platforms.
Prasad holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
As Field CTO, Brad is at the Intersection of Business and Technology, helping bridge the gap between Workspot’s technology and the customer’s business needs. He will provide guidance on how technology can be used to achieve the customer’s business goals.
Previously, Brad was Vice President of Marketing at DocuSign (IPO), the global leader in eSignature and Digital Transaction Management. Before DocuSign, Brad worked with Citrix for almost a decade where he built the global EBC program, produced solution videos driving millions in pipeline and was a regular keynote speaker for Citrix and partner events globally. Brad joined Citrix in 2004 through the acquisition of Net6 and subsequently relocated to the Citrix EMEA headquarters in Switzerland and launched the new security appliance business over a two-year period to a $30M run rate. Brad has also held executive roles at Net6 (acquired by Citrix), Octane (acquired by E.piphany), BayStone (acquired by Remedy) and Auspex (IPO).
Brad holds a Master of Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Matthew Davidson has over twenty years of in-depth experience in information technology, working in the consulting, manufacturing, and AEC industries. He has spent the past nineteen years in the AEC industry, where through creative thinking, he developed and implemented both tactical and strategic technology solutions that cut spending while increasing service, productivity, and profitability. Strategic technology implementations included overseeing the cloud-first strategy and Workspot cloud workstation deployment for his previous company. As VP of Customer Success at Workspot, Matthew now proffers this unique expertise and success record to enterprise organizations seeking to expand growth opportunities by modernizing their end user computing technology.
His philosophy is simple – technology should be an innovation-enabler, not a barrier or a reactionary fix.
As VP of Strategic Finance at Workspot, Tarun has a cross-functional role and is responsible for guiding the company towards achieving its financial goals, empowering executive decision making, and assisting the CEO on long-range planning.
Previously, Tarun was at Capricorn Investment Group, where he invested in various private technology businesses across multiple sectors and geographies. Prior to Capricorn, he worked in public equity research at Dodge & Cox focused on the pharmaceutical and biotech sector. He started his career as a management consultant with Silver Oak Partners.
Tarun holds a MS in Geophysics & Civil Engineering and an MBA, both from UC Berkeley.
Board of Directors
Mark Templeton has served as an independent director of Workspot since September, 2020 after serving on the company’s Advisory Board for several years. Templeton is the former president and chief executive officer of Citrix Systems where he shaped the company for over 20 years, propelling Citrix as one of the world’s largest enterprise computing and software-as-a-service companies. Citrix transformed from a $15 million organization with one product, one customer segment, and one go-to-market path, into a global organization with annual revenues of over $3 billion and 100 million users worldwide.
Mr. Templeton also serves as an independent director on several private company boards and at Arista Networks [ANET] and Health Catalyst [HCAT]. He earned his bachelor’s degree in product design from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
